Role Overview

Moore JFC is seeking a senior, market‑leading Partner – Recovery & Insolvency Advisory to establish, lead, and grow its recovery, restructuring, and insolvency services across the GCC, based in Dubai.

The role is intended for an experienced restructuring professional with strong creditor and stakeholder advisory experience, deep understanding of regional insolvency regimes, and the market credibility to advise boards, lenders, shareholders, and regulators through complex and sensitive situations.

The Partner will play a key role in building a regionally integrated restructuring platform, closely aligned with Corporate Finance, M&A, and Transaction Services.

Practice Leadership & Strategy

  • · Establish and lead Moore JFC’s Recovery & Insolvency Advisory practice across the GCC.
  • · Define service offerings covering:
  • Restructuring and turnaround advisory
  • Independent business reviews (IBRs)
  • Liquidity and cash flow advisory
  • Formal and informal insolvency support
  • · Align the practice with regional legal and regulatory frameworks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait.

Business Development & Market Leadership

  • · Originate recovery, restructuring, and insolvency mandates across the GCC.
  • · Build strong relationships with:
  • Banks and financial institutions
  • Private credit and alternative lenders
  • Regulators, legal advisors, and insolvency practitioners
  • Boards, shareholders, and sponsor groups
  • · Position Moore JFC as a trusted advisor in distressed, underperforming, and special situations.

Client Advisory & Execution Oversight

  • · Act as lead advisor to boards, lenders, and stakeholders in complex and sensitive situations.
  • · Oversee delivery of:
  • Financial restructuring and turnaround plans
  • Cash flow and short‑term liquidity assessments
  • Stakeholder negotiations and restructuring support
  • · Provide strategic judgment on viability, options analysis, and value preservation.

People Leadership & Platform Building

· Build and lead a high‑performing recovery and restructuring team across the GCC.

· Mentor senior professionals and develop future leaders within the practice.

· Drive collaboration with M&A, valuation, and transaction services teams.

Commercial Accountability & Performance Expectations

As a Partner, the role carries full commercial ownership of the Recovery & Insolvency practice, including:

· Building and sustaining a strong regional pipeline of restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency advisory work.

· Delivering consistent year‑on‑year growth in practice revenues through origination, repeat mandates, and cross‑selling.

· Maintaining strong engagement economics, quality standards, and risk management.

· Contributing meaningfully to Moore JFC’s regional brand and strategic growth agenda.

Candidate Profile

· Extensive experience in restructuring, recovery, turnaround, or insolvency advisory.

· Partner or senior Director background from a Big 4, leading advisory firm, or specialist restructuring practice.

· Strong understanding of GCC insolvency and restructuring environments.

· Proven credibility with lenders, legal advisors, and senior stakeholders.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a regional advisory platform.
