Overview
- The ideal candidate should have:
- Prior experience handling trademark and patent matters
- Exposure to international IP filing and prosecution procedures
- Experience working with an international law firm preferred
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, filings, correspondence, and docketing efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Key responsibilities
- Trademark/copyright/patent filing and administration
- Preparing Power of Attorneys
- Updating IP docketing software (Web TMS)
- Administration of IP billing
- Monitoring prosecution and case deadlines
- Assist in conducting searches (trademarks and patents)
- Conduct legal research on IP laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Provide support in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized document repositories
