The employer seeks a skilled, experienced Panel Technician to join a client team in the gas industry.
The role requires hands-on electrical panel assembly, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble, install, wire, and maintain electrical control panels and distribution boards.
- Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Mount components and complete electrical connections.
- Inspect and test panels for proper function and safety compliance.
- Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting and repairs.
- Work with circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and control devices.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the technical team to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven Panel Technician experience, preferably in gas, industrial, or electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of panel assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.
- A diploma or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and attention to detail; able to work independently and in a team.
