Role overview
The role involves hands-on aluminium fabrication and site execution, including preparing materials and supporting smooth on-site operations.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate aluminium doors, windows, partitions, and other architectural systems to project specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install aluminium profiles and accessories.
- Review drawings and technical details to identify required profiles and materials.
- Provide procurement with material specifications and quantities.
- Select suitable systems, including sliding, casement, and slim profiles.
- Use tools, machinery, and materials safely and appropriately.
- Supervise or assist with site installation to meet drawings and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot fabrication or installation issues.
- Follow safety standards and company and site regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in aluminium fabrication and installation.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, systems, and construction accessories.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Experience coordinating with procurement teams on material planning.
- Practical understanding of site conditions and installation processes.
- Skill using fabrication tools and machinery.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in glass and aluminium companies or façade systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with UAE market standards, suppliers, and aluminium systems is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of glass types and integration with aluminium systems is an advantage.
