Full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role focuses on electrical systems for interior fit-out projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical systems for interior fit-out projects, including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems, in compliance with local codes and standards.
- Prepare electrical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Perform load calculations and select equipment.
- Conduct site inspections, verify installation quality, and support testing and commissioning.
- Address technical issues during project execution.
- Maintain project documentation, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and contribute to cost-effective, efficient electrical design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering and proficiency in electrical design for interior fit-out, including layout planning and system integration.
- Experience with power distribution, circuit design, panel schedules, and load management.
- Understanding of power systems, safety standards, and applicable UAE electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings using CAD or similar design software.
- Experience in interior fit-out, building services, or construction projects in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to collaborate across disciplines, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and maintain attention to detail and safety.
