- FIFO Roster: 12hour Days on a 2:1 Roster
- Scope: November 15th 2026 to January 17th 2027
- Flights: FIFO from Perth Airport

- The Opportunity Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Painter Blaster’s to join the team located on Barrow Island, WA. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the longevity and integrity of key infrastructure through abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and the application of industrial protective coatings and paint. This is a casual ongoing position from November to January, joining our team on the Butler Park Corrosion Project delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- About You
- Trade Certificate III Surface Preparation / Surface Finishing or similar – Highly regarded
- WA Drivers Licence
- White Card / Construction Induction
- Working at Heights & Gas Test Atmospheres (completed within last 2 years)
- Basic Fire Fighting Certificate
- Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
