About the Role

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented P6 Planner - Transportation in Bengaluru, India.

The role develops, maintains, and optimizes project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 for transportation and logistics initiatives.

The planner collaborates with cross-functional teams to support delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Oracle Primavera P6 schedules aligned with project objectives.
  • Perform critical path analysis and identify scheduling risks, bottlenecks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple transportation projects.
  • Create baselines, track actual progress, and monitor schedule performance.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for stakeholder communication and decision-making.
  • Analyze project data, support schedule optimization, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams on scheduling requirements.
  • Document scheduling assumptions, constraints, and change requests.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project management.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Oracle Primavera P6 experience with advanced proficiency.
  • Proven transportation, logistics, or supply chain project planning experience.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, and schedule risk assessment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of transportation practices, logistics operations, schedule optimization, and resource leveling is preferred.
