Guest and sales support
- Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting appropriate departments as needed.
- Use upselling and other sales techniques to increase revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Process rewards redemptions and enter Marriott Rewards information when taking reservations.
- Handle reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Promote brand awareness and perform general Sales & Marketing office duties.
Team and service standards
- Assist management with training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
- Monitor performance against quality expectations and standards.
- Follow company policies, protect confidential information and assets, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and support team goals.
- Move or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is specified.
