Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) is looking for an Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database technologies.
This is a hands-on development role requiring strong expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, database development, integrations, and application performance optimization to deliver scalable and secure business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle APEX applications
- Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database objects
- Build responsive web applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions
- Integrate Oracle APEX applications with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Optimize application performance and database queries
- Manage application enhancements, troubleshooting, and bug fixes
- Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, and deployment activities
- Prepare technical documentation and support production releases
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements & Key Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development
- Strong expertise in Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
- Knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Experience integrating Oracle applications with third-party systems
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Oracle APEX certification is a plus
