Oversees shift management at a first-mile fulfillment center, middle-mile sortation center, or final-mile delivery station.
Supports safe, high-quality operations and the movement of customer orders through the delivery chain.
Responsibilities
- Identify safety opportunities and foster a safe working environment.
- Manage and train associates; ensure orders meet quality and safety guidelines.
- Share shift information with frontline management and operators; adjust labor to meet plans and forecasts.
- Work with support functions on process readiness, 5S, safety, training, and performance issues.
- Use data analysis, innovation, and process optimization to address logistics and supply-chain challenges.
Requirements
- Fluent spoken, written, and read English; high school education or equivalent.
- At least one year of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
- At least one year of Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitoring experience.
- Work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required; schedule may include weekends, nights, holidays, and variable shifts.
- Able to lift up to 49 pounds and perform standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts up to 12 hours.
- Strong communication, ownership, leading by example, team motivation, and data-analysis capability.
