Job Scope
The Operations Specialist works alongside the Vice President Operations, coordinating activities across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities
include supporting operational readiness, implementing guides and playbooks, and facilitating communication and documentation for hotel openings and projects.
The specialist tracks progress across multiple initiatives, identifies challenges, and proactively proposes solutions, all while collaborating with diverse teams and maintaining high standards.
Adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are essential to advancing operational success.
Operational Coordination & Execution
- Support the execution of operational initiatives by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and following up on agreed actions to ensure timely delivery.
Operational Guides & Playbooks Implementation
- Assist with the rollout and day-to-day application of approved operational guides, procedures, and playbooks, supporting consistency across hotels.
Pipeline Openings & Readiness Support
- Support operational readiness for hotels, including pre-opening phases, transitions, and pipeline projects, through coordination of inputs and documentation.
Communication & Documentation
- Ensure operational updates, project documentation, and communications are prepared accurately, well organized, and shared with relevant stakeholders.
Meetings, MOMs & Follow Up
- Prepare materials for operational meetings, capture minutes of meetings (MOMs), maintain action lists, and follow up on deadlines and commitments.
Cross Functional Coordination
- Work with internal teams to support modern operational topics such as systems enablement, light automation initiatives, wellness, and sustainability requirements, as directed.
