Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah for an Operations Officer specializing in Logistics and Freight Forwarding.
The Operations Officer will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics and freight operations, managing coordination with customs authorities, ensuring accurate documentation, monitoring cargo tracking, and addressing any operational challenges.
The role requires maintaining high standards of efficiency and confidentiality while aligning logistics processes with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management and Analytical Skills to ensure efficiency in freight forwarding and logistics processes
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills for liaising with clients, customs authorities, and internal teams
- Knowledge in Finance to manage budgets and optimize cost-effective logistics operations
- Proven ability to work effectively in a structured, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with customs regulations and supply chain procedures is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in logistics-related software and tools is a plus
