Role Objective
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in handling steel industry by-products.
This role will be responsible for on-the-ground operations in Qatar, overseeing material processing, logistics coordination, and operational execution at the plant level.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations related to EAF slag and steel by-products processing
- Coordinate shipments and logistics between Qatar and United Arab Emirates.
- Oversee material handling, blending operations, and processing activities on-site
- Operate closely with the client facilities, working from a container office on-site
- Ensure efficient use of heavy equipment (e.g., excavators) and optimize raw material

- Supervise operational workflows, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Provide technical support for logistics and material handling when required
- Travel occasionally to Dubai to support commercial and logistics interfaces
- Reporting to Regional Operations Director & EMEA Managing Director
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in steel industry operations, specifically EAF slag or
- similar by-products
- Experience with heavy equipment operations and raw material processing
- Proven ability to manage site operations in industrial environments
- Familiarity with logistics coordination and cross-border shipment handling
- Willingness to be based full-time in Qatar and travel regionally when needed
