Overview
Al Ghurair Asset Management is looking for experienced **Operations Manager** to oversee and manage all **soft services** within our facility management operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of service delivery across cleaning, housekeeping, security coordination, pest control, waste management, and other support services while maintaining client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of soft services including cleaning, housekeeping, waste management, landscaping, and pest control
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations
- Develop and implement operational plans to improve service quality and efficiency
- Supervise, train, and manage site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for service-related matters
- Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization
- Handle incident management, complaints, and corrective actions promptly
- Coordinate with other departments (hard services, procurement, HR, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in facility management, with a focus on soft services
- Proven experience managing large teams and multiple sites
- Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, hygiene protocols, and soft FM best practices
- Familiarity with CAFM systems and reporting tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets and contracts effectively
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards (preferred)
