Overview

**Al Ghurair Asset Management** is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented **HR Assistant** to support the Human Resources Department in the day to day management of HR operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.

This position requires the ability to effectively support a diverse workforce while contributing to a positive and productive work environment within the **facility management** sector.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR related documentation.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and induction programs.
  • Maintain and update employee records, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Support visa processing, labor contracts, Emirates ID applications, medical appointments, and other government-related procedures.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and timesheets.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate employee data and supporting documentation.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, leave, and company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and company policies.
  • Support employee engagement activities, training programs, and performance management processes.
  • Prepare HR reports, employee databases, and monthly HR metrics.
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and employee relations matters.
  • Maintain HR documentation and filing systems in an organized manner.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in the Facility Management, Construction, or Service industry in the UAE.
  • Knowledge of UAE Labor Law, visa procedures, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience with HRMS systems is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
