The Operations Manager oversees end-to-end poultry operations, productivity, bird health, biosecurity, operational efficiency, and profitability.
The role combines technical poultry expertise with managerial capability.
Location and schedule
- The position is located in Doha, Qatar.
- The schedule is five working days.
Salary
- Salary is up to 28,000 QAR; no pay cadence is specified.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of relevant poultry operations experience; experience in large-scale poultry companies is preferred.
- Hands-on commercial poultry operations and cage-systems experience.
- Experience supervising multiple value-chain areas, particularly rearing, feed, hatchery, and slaughtering or processing.
- GCC experience is highly preferred; substantial experience in large established poultry organizations is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee rearing, feed, hatchery, slaughtering or processing, and production performance.
- Manage cage systems and feeding, watering, ventilation, lighting, and environmental controls.
- Monitor bird health, mortality, growth, feed conversion ratio, production efficiency, and biosecurity.
- Coordinate vaccination, medication, disease prevention, and veterinary programs.
- Supervise farm managers, supervisors, and operational teams while ensuring SOP, safety, animal welfare, and food safety compliance.
- Oversee feed usage, inventory, equipment, facilities, maintenance, and operational resources.
- Analyze production data, control costs, report performance, and implement operational improvements.

- Technical knowledge of poultry production, health, nutrition, biosecurity, and operational best practices.
- Leadership, team management, decision-making, operational KPI analysis, and commercial awareness focused on efficiency, cost control, and profitability.
