Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Operations Manager
to lead and oversee
elevator maintenance, operations, and project execution
, with a strong background in
Hitachi elevator systems
.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of
technical expertise, operational leadership, and commercial understanding
across maintenance, installation, and service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage
- daily operations
- of elevator maintenance and service teams
- Oversee
- preventive & corrective maintenance
- to ensure uptime, safety, and compliance
- Manage
- installation projects
- , ensuring timely and quality execution
- Drive
- service contracts, client satisfaction, and retention
- Support
- sales activities
- , including AMC contracts, upgrades, and modernization projects
- Monitor KPIs, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with
- safety standards and local regulations
- Coordinate with OEMs (especially
- Hitachi systems
- ) for technical support and spare parts
Requirements
- **20+ years of total experience**
- in elevator/escalator industry
- Minimum
- 10 years in operations management role
- Strong experience in:
- Elevator
- maintenance & troubleshooting
- **Installation & commissioning**
- **Service operations & contracts**
- Hands-on experience with
- Hitachi elevators (mandatory/preferred)
- Proven leadership in managing
- large technical teams
- Strong
- client handling and commercial acumen
