Operations Manager ( Crypto/Fintech/ Trading Operations)

About This Role

We are hiring an Operations Manager for a for high volume, high scale platform partner in the crypto industry who will become the operational centre of the company.

You will manage a cross functional team directly and act as the coordination point between Development, Marketing, Product, Legal, and Business Development. Your job is to ensure priorities stay aligned, execution stays on track, and problems are identified before they become operational risks.

This is not a passive reporting role. You will be expected to drive accountability, improve execution standards, remove blockers, and create operational structure across a fast moving business operating in the crypto space.

You should be someone who naturally takes ownership, communicates directly, and thrives in high responsibility environments where speed and quality both matter.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop a cross functional operations team
• Set clear expectations and hold people accountable to delivery standards
• Create operational discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy

Operational Execution

• Coordinate and prioritise daily operational activity
• Ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard
• Identify slippage early and intervene quickly

Cross Functional Coordination

• Act as the central operational link between:
• Development
• Product
• Marketing
• Legal
• Business Development
• Keep teams aligned, informed, and unblocked

KPI & Performance Management

• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting structures
• Monitor KPIs across internal teams and client platforms
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and operational risks early

Process Improvement

• Design and improve scalable operational processes
• Introduce structure that improves speed, accountability, and visibility
• Help the company scale without operational breakdowns

Leadership Reporting

• Provide leadership with clear operational visibility
• Surface risks early with actionable recommendations
• Deliver honest reporting without spin or unnecessary complexity

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

• Several years managing cross functional teams in:
• startups
• scale ups
• operationally intensive businesses
• consulting or agency environments
• Strong operational execution background
• Experience driving accountability across multiple departments

Technical & Operational Skills

• KPI tracking and operational reporting
• Project and workflow management
• Process design and operational scaling
• Comfortable using tools such as:
• Notion
• Linear
• ClickUp
• Asana
• Jira
• Monday.com

Strong Bonus Experience

• Crypto, fintech, trading, or exchange experience
• Chief of Staff or Program Manager background
• Experience implementing OKRs or KPI frameworks
• Consultancy or client delivery environment experience
• Experience operating in high volume or regulated industries
