The Operations Manager oversees restaurant operations and performance across kitchen, service, cashier, and reception.
Operations and standards
- Supervise daily operations and implement plans aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure service, food quality, recipe, presentation, hygiene, health, safety, and food-safety standards.
- Prepare the restaurant for opening and closing using established checklists.
People, supplies, and performance
- Manage employee schedules, monitor productivity, identify training needs, and develop staff performance.
- Oversee inventory and supplies, reduce waste, and coordinate with suppliers, kitchen, and storage.
- Monitor sales, costs, expenditures, sales targets, profitability, and performance indicators.
Customer experience and reporting
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints and feedback.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance, sales, and inventory reports.
- Identify operational issues, develop improvement plans, enhance procedures and customer experience, and recommend needs and developments to upper management.
Skills and qualifications
- Restaurant management and operations experience, leadership, supervision, planning, and organization skills.
- Knowledge of food quality, food safety, inventory control, waste reduction, sales, costs, and performance reporting.
- Customer service, complaint resolution, employee training, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management systems.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage crises; comply with established policies, procedures, and systems.
