Accountable for proactive wastewater maintenance programmes and support for reactive response and resilience operations.

Location and schedule
- The role description lists Bradford as the location.
- Permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.
Programme and commercial delivery
- Plan and deliver wastewater maintenance programmes against time, cost, quality, safety, and compliance targets.
- Coordinate resources and schedules across concurrent projects; support resilience and reactive response activities.
- Monitor performance, improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with client and company requirements.
- Manage budgets and costs with commercial teams, including subcontractor expenditure and procurement support.
Leadership and safety
- Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers, Supervisors, and operational personnel; set objectives and support development.
- Promote collaboration, innovation, accountability, and adoption of new technologies and working practices.
- Champion health, safety, and wellbeing; monitor risks, implement controls, investigate incidents, and apply lessons learned.
Required experience and skills
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Contract Manager, or senior operational leadership role.
- Experience managing large-scale operational programmes and field-based teams.
- Strong leadership and people management, commercial and financial awareness, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Wastewater, utilities, drainage, environmental services, or infrastructure experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of Yorkshire Water or similar utility frameworks is desirable.
- IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualifications are desirable.
- Experience with reactive, planned, and resilience-based operational programmes is desirable.
