The Operations Manager will oversee hotel or resort operations, manage multiple departments, improve operational efficiency, and support exceptional guest experiences and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel or resort operations and coordinate departments.
- Manage Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
- Lead department heads and operational teams toward business objectives and service standards.
- Monitor operational performance, budgets, expenses, and cost control.
- Resolve guest complaints and operational challenges, and improve service delivery.
- Develop operational policies, procedures, and strategies to improve efficiency and property performance.
- Ensure compliance with hospitality standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant hotel or resort operations experience.
- Proven overall hotel or resort operations management experience is mandatory; standalone restaurant or Food & Beverage operations experience is insufficient.
- Strong understanding of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facilities Management.
- Demonstrated experience leading operational teams and department heads.
- Strong financial management, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
