Operations Executive - Ecommerce

Job Summary

Store Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of e-commerce fulfilment centres and stores.
• Ensure accurate shift management, stock replenishment, and order picking efficiency.
• Implement process improvements to enhance order accuracy and reduce turnaround time.
• Monitor KPIs related to order fulfilment, returns, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with central ecommerce and store operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Fleet Operations Management

• Manage and optimize the fleet for last-mile delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective dispatch.
• Develop routing strategies to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, vehicle maintenance schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement technology-driven solutions for real-time tracking and performance monitoring.
• Co-ordinate with third-party logistics providers when required.

Leadership & Strategy

• Drive operations through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage resources for store and fleet operations.
• Lead, train, and motivate teams to achieve performance targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Vendor management, Customer Service, Order management) to support operations growth.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in retail/e-commerce operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, WMS, and fleet management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and complex operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
