Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Executive to manage daily freight operations and coordinate closely with customs processes in Abu Dhabi.
This role requires someone who can independently handle shipments, documentation, and system-based processing.
This is not a training role only experienced candidates should apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end freight operations (import & export – air, sea, and road)
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, delivery orders)
- Handle customs-related coordination and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Communicate with clients regarding shipment status and issues
- Resolve operational delays, documentation errors, and clearance issues
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and operations
Requirements
- **Minimum 2–4 years of experience** **in freight forwarding or logistics operations in the Abu Dhabi**
- Proven experience in air freight and logistics operations, including handling AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments
- **Strong understanding of Abu dhabi customs clearance procedures and air cargo operations**
- Experience supervising operational activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong client and vendor relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities under pressure
- High level of attention to detail with a strong commitment to operational accuracy and compliance
- Proficient in shipment documentation, cargo tracking, and milestone management.
- **Valid UAE driving license is preferred**
- Willingness to work flexible or shift-based schedules as required by operational needs
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with Customs Clearance procedures
- Prior experience in a Abu Dhabi based freight forwarding company
- Familiarity with logistics or freight management systems
