Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Business Development Manager for our pest control business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing daily operations, driving business growth, and developing strategies to expand the customer base.

This role requires hands-on experience in both operational management and business development within the pest control or facility services industry.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the pest control business to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement operational processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service protocols.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
  • Manage and train the operations team, ensuring proper allocation of resources and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely response to customer complaints, service requests, and emergency situations.

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives, including B2B client acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations to support business growth.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations and business development, preferably in pest control, facility management, or related service industry.
  • Proven track record of managing operational teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of pest control techniques, chemicals, and safety standards.
  • Experience in implementing CRM or ERP systems for operations and sales management.
  • Strong network in the local pest control or facilities management industry.
