Role overview

Procurement and cost control

• Process supplier requisitions and orders within 3–4 working days and ensure materials meet specifications.
• Seek economical procurement and maintain project- and item-level purchase records.
• Maintain project materials cost-control sheets and prepare monthly savings reports against budget.
• Monitor material costs and quantities against approved budgets; obtain variance explanations and approvals.

Coordination and sourcing

• Coordinate with technical, planning, factory, and store teams to clarify material descriptions and delivery needs.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery; address materials that are late, defective, short, or otherwise not as required.
• Source products and trusted suppliers, and negotiate prices, terms, deliveries, and services.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in aluminium and glass or purchasing.
• Must be familiar with materials procurement and have experience in the same or a related field.

Knowledge and skills

• Ability to understand requirements and specifications.
• Technical knowledge of international façade systems and façade-industry components.
• Basic knowledge of contractual issues.
• Awareness of local and international procurement sources.
