The Central Kitchen is responsible for many of the food items sold in our store locations.

These associates are responsible for the mass production of food menu items for sale in the prepared food program inclusive of presentation and portion control while working in a potentially hot or cold environment.

• Knowledgeable of proper safe food handling procedures and is required to practice them in the daily operation of the kitchen.
• Will assist in the development and production of food menu items for sale in the prepared food sections of our stores.
• Will assist in the delivery of prepared food items to stores.
• Work on cold temperature (40 degrees or below) with appropriate coat.

• Be able to read, understand, speak, and write the English language
• Ability to perform or learn basic kitchen tasks with supervision.
• Knowledge of the proper operations of kitchen equipment such as microwaves, warmers, double boiler, and refrigeration systems.
• Must be able to lift frequently 30 pounds to carry bulk food items and equipment
