Nursing Faculty

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Minimum two (2) years of recent teaching experience in a nursing program.

Experience in psychiatric mental health nursing.

Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in both didactic and clinical settings, including course development, student assessment, course evaluations and advising.

Education to include principles of teaching and learning.

Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology routinely into instructional responsibilities (multimedia, flipped classroom teaching strategies, and test construction).

Demonstrated understanding of concept-based teaching principles.

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations in an urban setting.
