Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nursery Manager role based in Dubai.
The Nursery Manager will oversee day-to-day nursery operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that aligns with the UK EYFS framework and the nursery’s quality standards.
Responsibilities
include leading and mentoring teaching and support teams, managing staffing schedules, and coordinating staff development and performance management.
The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with families, handling parent communication and feedback, and supporting children’s well-being and developmental progress.
The Nursery Manager will also be responsible for compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements, managing nursery budgets and resources, and supporting curriculum planning, classroom practice, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in nursery operations and leadership, including Nursery and Nursery Management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding best practices, including Safeguarding and Safeguarding Children, with a commitment to child protection and welfare.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g., CACHE, EYFS, or equivalent degree/diploma) and familiarity with the UK EYFS framework.
- Proven experience in team management, coaching, and performance development within an early years setting.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and basic budget management.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety standards, regulatory compliance, and inspection requirements in early years environments.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment, with a child-centered mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
