Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and triage incoming calls to determine urgency and appropriate scheduling
- Support providers and patients with medication refills, prior authorizations, and clinical questions
- Prepare patients for exams, including collecting histories, vital signs, and documentation
- Perform clinical procedures such as venipuncture, urinalysis, EKGs, and immunizations
- Provide patient education to support understanding and wellness
- Coordinate follow-up care, including outreach to patients who miss appointments
- Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, and proper sterilization protocols
- Ensure accurate documentation and support medical records management
- Uphold patient confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service in all interactions
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bring a strong sense of clinical judgment and can confidently prioritize patient needs
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and care teams
- Enjoy a mix of direct patient care and care coordination responsibilities
- Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Take pride in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that promotes wellness and access for all
