Role overview
Responsible for establishing, operating, maintaining, and coordinating the use of local and wide area networks, hardware, software, and related computer equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design and install computer networks, connections, and cabling.
- Troubleshoot system failures and identify bottlenecks to improve network efficiency.
- Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems.
- Test and configure software; maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
- Evaluate network performance and identify improvements.
- Schedule upgrades and maintenance while minimizing disruption to others’ work.
- Perform regular data backups to protect organizational information.
- Provide coworkers with technical direction, advice, and instructions on computer and network use.
Qualifications
- Diploma in computer science or a related field.
- IT background required.
- Fresh graduate or out of work for more than three months.
- Based in Makkah or ready to relocate to Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
