Work location

• Work location is Qatar; work is in person.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize network infrastructure, cabling, servers, routers, switches, and related equipment.
• Establish network infrastructure based on client requirements.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, filtering, access controls, and other network security systems.
• Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, IIS, file and print servers, and domain controllers.
• Maintain routers, switches, VLANs, VoIP, VMware ESXi, backups, and recovery procedures.
• Monitor infrastructure and performance, investigate incidents, and support SLA, OLA, and KPI compliance.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and network configuration changes.
• Implement endpoint protection and security controls; maintain documentation, diagrams, and incident reports.
• Manage tickets, coordinate incident resolution, and provide technical support.

Mandatory requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in a Water Treatment Plant or Sewage Treatment Plant is mandatory.
• Strong network administration, server management, and troubleshooting experience is required.
• Practical knowledge of network equipment, security, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP is required.
• Virtualization experience is required; VMware ESXi is preferred.
• Knowledge of endpoint protection, backup solutions, and infrastructure monitoring is required.
• Candidates must be able to join immediately and commit to the full 2–3 month contract.

Preferred qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Networking, Microsoft, VMware, or cybersecurity certifications are advantageous.
• Related experience in utilities or industrial facilities is preferred.
