Environmental Manager role focused on implementing the Construction Environmental Management Plan and maintaining environmental compliance for a construction project.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Construction Environmental Management Plan across the project site.
- Coordinate, secure, and maintain environmental permits and regulatory clearances.
- Monitor construction activities for environmental regulatory compliance.
- Conduct site inspections and environmental audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and regulatory bodies on environmental matters.
- Halt construction activities posing immediate environmental non-compliance threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Strong background in Environmental Management and Sustainability.
- Direct experience implementing a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP).
- Proven capability managing environmental permitting requirements.
- Ability to conduct environmental audits and risk assessments.
- 10+ years of experience.
Workplace and duration
- Work location is in person; the description identifies Al Bidda as the location.
- Contract duration is 12 months.
