Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Québec, QC.
- Remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Create, test, verify, validate, improve, and document physics-based digital models of military platforms, decoys, missiles, sensors, and environmental components.
- Use modelling and simulation tools for engagement scenarios and military-system capability evaluation.
- Apply verification and validation processes and support simulation execution and analysis.
- Collect experimental data and use measured data to improve model fidelity.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports on methods, simulation results, and findings.
- Maintain modelling and simulation capabilities and provide knowledge transfer and training to project partners.
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in physics, engineering physics, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- Have at least 24 months of experience creating physics-based digital models.
- Have at least 24 months of experience with MATLAB.
- Have at least 24 months of experience with Simulink.
- Have at least 6 months of experience with one or more verification and validation processes.
- Have at least 3 months of simulation execution and analysis experience.
Employment Type
- This is a full-time role.
Additional Requirements
Travel within Canada or internationally may be required for data gathering, test set-ups, knowledge transfer, or presentations.
Security clearance requirements vary by assigned work and may range from Reliability to SECRET or NATO SECRET.
