Information Technology Resource - Specialist

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, test, verify, validate, integrate, and document software components used in modelling and simulation.
• Analyze and develop software architecture and support digital models and simulation capabilities.
• Support military scenario development, simulation execution, and analysis of simulation results.
• Develop software with C++ and, depending on the task, Python, Unreal Engine, MATLAB/Simulink, and graphical interfaces.
• Support verification and validation, experimental data collection, and software integration.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports and provide knowledge transfer, training, and project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in a listed computer science, engineering, IT, or software engineering discipline.
• At least 12 months of C++ programming experience.
• At least 6 months of Python experience and 12 months of Unreal Engine experience.
• At least 12 months of MATLAB/Simulink experience and 3 months of graphical interface development experience.
• At least 6 months of digital model creation experience.
• At least 12 months of software architecture analysis and development experience.
• At least 6 months of verification and validation process experience.
• At least 3 months of simulation execution and analysis experience.
• At least 6 months of experience with physical phenomena associated with electro-optics.

Workplace and Travel

• This is a full-time, non-remote position in Québec, QC.
• Travel within Canada or internationally may be required for data gathering, test set-ups, knowledge transfer, or presentations.
