Mobile Repair Technician / Board-Level Technician

About This Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Repair Technician with expertise in both general smartphone repairs and board-level (chip-level) troubleshooting and repair. The ideal candidate should be capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mobile device issues, including complex motherboard faults.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair smartphones including Android and iOS devices
• Perform hardware repairs such as:
• Screen replacement
• Battery replacement
• Charging port repair
• Camera and speaker repairs
• Conduct board-level (chip-level) repairs, including:
• IC replacement
• Jumper work
• Short circuit detection
• Track repairing
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues:
• Flashing and firmware installation
• Unlocking and resetting devices
• Use professional tools like:
• Soldering station
• Hot air gun
• Microscope
• Multimeter
• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and are completed within deadlines
• Maintain records of repairs and parts used
• Communicate with customers or the team regarding repair status

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mobile Repair Technician
• Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and components
• Experience in motherboard/IC level repair (must for senior role)
• Familiarity with Android and iOS systems
• Ability to use repair tools and diagnostic equipment
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and precision
• Basic English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Mobile Repairing / Electronics
• Experience working in a repair center or service facility
• Knowledge of latest smartphone models and repair techniques
