Mobile Application Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:** **Application Development & Enhancement

• Implement **UI/UX improvements** to enhance usability and user satisfaction
• Develop and optimize **mobile applications (iOS/Android)**
• Enhance workflows and update **business rules** based on operational needs
• Deliver continuous **service-delivery improvements**

Integration & Api Management

• Support and maintain **API integrations**, including:
• Oracle ERP
• UAE PASS
• ICP, MOEC, and other government systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve:
• API failures
• Authentication issues
• Integration errors

System Performance & Monitoring

• Perform **application health checks** and monitoring
• Conduct **performance tuning and optimization**
• Support **capacity planning and growth forecasting**
• Implement continuous monitoring for:
• Application uptime
• API performance

Support & Maintenance

• Identify and fix:
• Mobile application bugs
• Workflow failures
• UI/UX issues
• Restore **failed services and application crashes**
• Perform **data cleanup and repair broken records**

Security & Compliance

• Verify and recommend **security patches and updates**
• Ensure secure integration with authentication systems (e.g., UAE PASS)
• Apply best practices for **mobile application security**

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and update:
• Technical documentation
• Knowledge base articles
• Prepare **monthly reports**, including:
• Summary of opened and resolved incidents
• System health and uptime metrics
• Performance improvement recommendations
• Completed enhancement activities
• Planned activities for next month

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in mobile application development
• Experience in:
• iOS / Android development (Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin)
• REST APIs and backend integration

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of **API integration and authentication systems**
• Experience with **UI/UX optimization**
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Knowledge of **mobile security best practices**
• Familiarity with **enterprise systems and workflows**

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with **UAE PASS integration**
• Experience in **government or enterprise projects (UAE)**
• Knowledge of **Oracle ERP or similar systems**
• Experience with monitoring and analytics tools

Experience

• integrating REST APIs in mobile apps: 4 years (Required)
• authentication systems (token / OAuth / SSO): 3 years (Required)
• fixed production bugs or crashes in a live app?: 3 years (Required)
• native iOS/Android: 3 years (Preferred)
• react: 4 years (Required)
• Next.js: 4 years (Required)
• mobile app to App Store or Google Play?: 3 years (Required)

• Arabic and English (Preferred)
