About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (**BRD/FRD, user stories**).
- Work closely with **banks, fintechs, and internal stakeholders** to define solutions.
- Drive end-to-end understanding of **payment transaction lifecycle** (authorization, clearing, settlement).
- Support implementation of **payment switch & gateway integrations**.
- Collaborate with tech teams on **API integrations and system workflows**.
- Handle **reconciliation, dispute management, and chargeback processes**.
- Ensure compliance with **AML/CTF, sanctions, and PEP screening requirements**.
- Coordinate and manage **UAT cycles**, test cases, and defect tracking.
- Perform **data analysis (SQL)** for validation and reporting.
- Ensure alignment with **card schemes (Visa/Mastercard) and UAE payment systems**.
Primary Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong experience in **requirement gathering (BRD/FRD, user stories)**
- Deep knowledge of **payments domain** (cards, POS, ATM, online payments)
- Understanding of **transaction lifecycle** (authorization, clearing, settlement)
- Experience in **payment switch/gateway integrations**
- Knowledge of **ISO 8583 basics**
- Strong **stakeholder management** (banks, fintechs, vendors)
- Experience with **API integrations and system workflows**
- Hands-on with **SQL / data analysis**
- Experience in **UAT coordination and defect management**
Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have)
- Knowledge of **reconciliation & chargebacks**
- Understanding of **AML/CTF compliance, sanctions & PEP screening**
- Exposure to **UAE payment ecosystem (UAESWITCH, local schemes)**
- Familiarity with **Visa / Mastercard processing systems**

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
