The MIS Associate supports daily data operations and monitoring and evaluation activities.
Daily data operations
- Receive, process, and verify daily submissions from manufacturing partners.
- Clean submissions and flag errors, duplicates, and incomplete records.
- Maintain the verification queue with a target turnaround under 72 hours per submission; document flagged issues and resolutions.
- Maintain partner databases for inventory, serialisation, and performance, with version control on shared databases.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly data extracts for reporting and compliance.
Monitoring and evaluation support
- Support design, testing, and deployment of ODK/KoboToolbox forms.
- Clean, validate, and package monitoring datasets to required standards.
- Identify and correct data integrity issues during data reviews.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field.
- A relevant diploma and at least one year of demonstrated MIS/data experience will also be considered.
- At least 1–2 years in data management, MIS, M&E, or data operations.
Preferred experience
- NGO, development organisation, or field-programme experience is strongly preferred.
- Environmental monitoring exposure is advantageous.
- Experience supporting field data collection teams is a plus.
