IT Officer role based in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and other hardware and software issues.
- Provide user support and resolve IT-related problems.
- Protect IT systems with data backups, antivirus, and access controls.
- Manage and monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement IT policies, procedures, and standards for compliance and security.
- Recommend technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with departments to understand IT needs.
- Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and installations.
- Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- Minimum qualification: bachelor's degree.
- Minimum experience: 2 years.
- English language requirement.
Schedule and employment
- Full-time role.
- Working hours are 8 to 5.
