Job Title: Microblading & Nano Shading Specialist / Semi-Permanent Makeup (PMU) Artist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Microblading & Nano Shading Specialist to join our prestigious beauty salon or aesthetic clinic in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic eye, a deep understanding of facial aesthetics, and a commitment to the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

This role requires a professional who combines technical expertise with excellent client consultation skills to deliver natural, flawless results.

Key Responsibilities

Permanent Makeup (PMU) Procedures: Perform a variety of advanced semi-permanent makeup services, including Microblading, Nano Shading (also known as nanoblading or powder/ombré brows), lip blush, and eyeliner tattooing.

Client Consultations: Conduct detailed consultations to assess clients' preferences, skin types, and medical history to recommend the most suitable brow shape, pigment color, and technique.

Customized Treatment: Design and create perfectly sculpted brows tailored to each client's facial features and desired look.

Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to DHA health and safety regulations, including infection control, sterilization protocols, and the use of single-use needles and equipment.

Patient Education & Aftercare: Educate clients on pre- and post-procedure care to ensure optimal healing and long-lasting results, and schedule follow-up/touch-up sessions as needed.

Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, consent forms, and treatment documentation.

Workspace Management: Ensure a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace.

Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and pigments in the PMU industry.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other aesthetic practitioners and doctors when required.

1. Certifications & Licensing

Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Beauty Therapist or relevant category to practice in Dubai. (Note: Working in a clinic may require a DHA license, while some salons may accept eligibility.)

Recognized PMU Certification from a reputable training institute.

KHDA-attested certification is highly preferred as it validates the quality of your training and enhances your credibility.

2.

Experience

Minimum 2–6 years of professional experience in semi-permanent makeup, microblading, and nano shading. (Note: Experience requirements vary by employer, with some clinics requiring 2+ years and others up to 6 years.)

Experience in a clinic, medical aesthetics, or high-end salon environment is preferred.

3. Skills & Abilities

Artistic Expertise: Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic skills and healed results.

Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of skin anatomy, color theory, and different skin types.

Precision: Excellent attention to detail and precision.

Communication: Strong communication and patient care skills.

Fluency in English is often required; Arabic or Russian is a plus.

Professionalism: A professional attitude, a passion for providing high-quality service, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

What We Offer

Competitive and negotiable salary based on experience.

Visa and health insurance.

Flexible working terms and conditions.

Opportunity to work with an established brand with a strong clientele.

Key Note on KHDA vs.

DHA in the UAE

KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) certification attests to the quality of your training.

A KHDA-approved course means your educational program meets high standards, which boosts your professional credibility and employability.

DHA (Dubai Health Authority) licensing is a legal requirement to practice as a beauty therapist or PMU artist in Dubai.

It ensures you meet the professional and safety standards mandated by the health authority.

In short, a KHDA certification shows you have received high-quality training, while a DHA license legally permits you to perform the services in Dubai.

Most employers in the UAE will require both.

Job Type: Full-time
