Salary: AED 4,000 – 5,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Audit Assistant to support internal and external audit activities.

The ideal candidate will assist in reviewing financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and preparing audit documentation.

Candidates with prior UAE experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Review financial records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare audit working papers, reports, and documentation.
  • Verify accounting entries and reconcile financial data.
  • Identify discrepancies and report findings to the Audit Manager.
  • Assist in evaluating internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation of audit schedules and financial reports.
  • Coordinate with departments to obtain required information and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and operational information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of audit/accounting experience in the UAE.
  • Knowledge of auditing procedures, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
