**Location:** Dubai, UAE

**Salary:** AED 4,000 – 6,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our FMCG team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger records.
  • Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate records of receipts and payments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliation in coordination with warehouse and operations teams.
  • Process payroll-related accounting entries and employee reimbursements.
  • Ensure timely VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
  • Analyze financial data and provide reports to management for decision-making.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and VAT regulations.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or similar systems.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and stock accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as CA Inter, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Experience handling high-volume transactions in an FMCG environment.
  • Immediate joiners will be preferred.
