Role Description

This part-time Merchandising Manager role is a hybrid position based in Dubai, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Merchandising Manager will plan and manage product assortments, ensuring that merchandise selection aligns with customer needs, brand guidelines, and sales targets.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishment, reviewing sales performance, and optimizing product placement and display standards.

The role also involves collaborating with sales and store teams to improve customer experience, guiding promotional activities, and communicating merchandising plans to relevant stakeholders.

The Merchandising Manager will support the continuous improvement of merchandising strategies to drive profitability and enhance brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey merchandising plans clearly.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service and Sales skills to understand shopper behavior and support revenue growth through effective merchandising decisions.
  • Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to track stock levels, manage replenishment, and reduce overstock or stockouts.
  • Candidates should possess Assortment planning skills to build balanced product mixes that reflect market trends and customer preferences.
  • Relevant experience in retail or merchandising management, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to interpret sales data and make data-informed merchandising decisions.
  • Proficiency with merchandising or retail management software and basic MS Excel or similar tools.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Dubai, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
