Role Description
The Construction Manager will oversee day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects in Dubai, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This part-time, hybrid role requires regular on-site presence in Dubai, combined with some work-from-home flexibility for planning, reporting, and coordination tasks.
Responsibilities include supervising site teams and subcontractors, monitoring progress against project plans, managing resource allocation, and enforcing construction safety standards.
The Construction Manager will coordinate with project stakeholders, review drawings and specifications, track costs and schedules, and implement project controls to maintain quality and compliance with regulations.
The role also involves preparing status reports, addressing issues or delays, and supporting continuous improvement of construction processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead site staff, subcontractors, and vendors effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Budgeting skills to manage project costs, track expenditures, and support financial planning.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Construction and Construction Safety to oversee work quality and maintain safe site operations.
- Candidates should possess Project Control skills to monitor schedules, progress, and risks, and to implement corrective actions when needed.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing construction projects, ideally within Dubai or the wider UAE, is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes, plus proficiency with construction management software, is advantageous.
