Key Responsibilities
- Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical, and ELV systems.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies.
- Identify commercial risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams during the tendering process.
- Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations, and project handovers.
- Ensure timely and compliant tender submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in MEP Tendering and Estimation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV systems.
- Experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
- Experience within MEP contracting companies is highly preferred.
