This a full time role at Saudi Arabia, Riyadh
The Senior Planning Engineer will drive end-to-end planning strategy, ensuring full alignment between project execution, timelines, and commercial objectives.
This role acts as a key interface between project management, engineering, and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, validation, and optimization of baseline and detailed project schedules
- Oversee progress measurement, critical path analysis, and schedule performance
- Drive recovery plans and proactively manage delays and risks
- Lead extension of time (EOT) submissions, claims support, and forensic delay analysis
- Integrate cost and resource planning into project schedules
- Manage reporting frameworks, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
- Mentor and guide planning engineers across multiple projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 8–15 years of experience in planning and project controls within the construction industry
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory
- Strong expertise in delay analysis techniques (EOT, claims, and risk evaluation)
- Proven experience handling large-scale or complex projects (EPC / Design & Build)
- Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills
