MEP Site Engineer

Role overview

Site execution and coordination

• Supervise daily MEP site activities and implement approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with QS, Procurement, the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and identify material requirements in advance.
• Coordinate material delivery, availability, and usage at the site.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and other applicable MEP system installations.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, fit-out, architectural, and other site work to avoid clashes and delays.

Inspections, documentation, and handover

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings and ensure site work follows approved drawings.
• Identify and escalate site issues, technical requirements, and discrepancies to the Project Manager.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and related documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant MEP site experience; UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation, coordination, drawings, and site execution.
• Ability to coordinate with QS, Procurement, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office/Excel.
• Strong site coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fit-out, construction, or interior project experience is preferred.
• A UAE driving licence is an advantage; candidates available within the required joining timeline are preferred.

• Work location is in person.

Pay

• AED 4,000–8,000 per month.
