Responsibilities

• Manage MEP design package review and coordination across pre-contract and post-contract stages.
• Manage designers and contractors to maintain technical compliance, buildability, and programme alignment.
• Review MEP specifications, drawings, technical submissions, and procurement deliverables.
• Support tender reviews, technical evaluations, and recommendation reports.
• Monitor site installation for compliance with approved designs, contract requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate MEP interfaces with architecture, structure, and infrastructure.
• Resolve technical issues, design changes, and contractor queries.
• Manage testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and handover.
• Monitor programme performance and risks; implement mitigation measures.
• Engage client representatives, operators, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
• Promote health, safety, and quality across MEP activities.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.
• Chartered status or working toward professional accreditation is preferred.
• Relevant experience delivering major building, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong all-round MEP experience across pre-contract and post-contract phases.
• Proven design review, technical coordination, procurement support, and on-site construction management experience.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
• Understanding of testing, commissioning, and handover for complex facilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment; excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Work arrangements

• The role includes site installation oversight and is site-based.
• Part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options may be discussed if suitable for the role.
