The project
Work on a state-of-the-art airport project in Doha, supporting airport capacity and service improvements.
Lead complex airport infrastructure and operational projects from inception through completion while maintaining operational continuity and aviation compliance.
Project delivery
- Champion safety and wellbeing, ensure HSE compliance, and foster a positive safety culture.
- Manage end-to-end delivery, quality systems, and programme milestones.
- Oversee budgets, risks, and ethical governance.
- Lead collaborative teams, stakeholder engagement, performance, and innovation across project phases.
- Plan and coordinate aviation projects in line with programme objectives; manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Drive governance, reporting, and performance management; monitor progress and resolve delivery issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and airport operational requirements.
- Manage project risks, opportunities, and change control.
- Support procurement, contract administration, and commercial management as required.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and programme updates.
- Minimise impacts on airport operations and passenger experience.
Essential candidate requirements
- Degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent.
- 10–15 years of project management experience.
- Demonstrable experience delivering aviation-sector projects.
- Experience with airport terminal, airside, landside, baggage handling, aviation systems, infrastructure, or operational improvement projects.
- Strong stakeholder-management understanding in a complex operational environment.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Strong commercial and risk-management capabilities.
Preferred experience
- Experience in major international airports.
- Previous client-side, PMC, or programme-management experience.
- Familiarity with airport operational requirements, aviation regulations, and live-environment project delivery.
- Experience across multiple workstreams in a large airport expansion or transformation programme.
