MEP Engineer

Role overview

Execution and project coordination

• Read MEP drawings; schedule, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities.
• Organize subcontractors and direct technicians and helpers according to execution requirements.
• Coordinate site visits and supervision, team assignments, workforce availability, and schedules.
• Confirm scope and price with suppliers and coordinate project work with clients and workforces.
• Prepare estimates, BOQs, pricing inputs, and required project documentation.
• Obtain client signatures on completion certificates and manage technical customer relationships.

Site safety and quality

• Ensure work follows approved method statements and customer and company documentation requirements.
• Arrange site permissions and approvals; complete risk assessments and method statements.
• Provide safety instructions, assess and report hazards, and enforce HSE, legal, and client rules.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping, monitor progress, report regularly, and manage the site through client sign-off.

Qualifications and experience

• Graduate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Seven to ten years of fit-out industry experience in site supervision and project management.
• Solid knowledge of civil works, MEP, HVAC, and project coordination.
• Hands-on MS Office experience, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• English and Hindi are required; fluent English and confident speaking ability are specified.
• UAE driving licence required.
• Knowledge of estimating, BOQ preparation, and pricing required.

Compensation

• AED 7,000–8,000 per month.
